Feel Good At Home And Don’t Mind The Weather
If you’ve been living in your home for many years, chances are your windows might need some care and attention.
Over time, window frames can rot, paint can peel off, and seals can loosen. This leads to draft, moisture, and higher electricity bills.
Repairing your old windows enhances your home’s curb appeal and helps keep inside temperatures constant.
It’s time for you to enjoy ongoing comfort at home regardless of the season.
- Cracked glass
- Accidental glass breakage
- Loose seals
- Fog or condensation between glass panes
- Fallen grids inside the glass
- Window opening/closing issues
Why we can offer a lifetime warranty
The lifetime warranty holds because we repair methodically, verify each window individually, and document both the original damage and the completed work before we leave.
We document the damage
Every broken seal, cracked pane, or worn component is photographed before we begin work.
This creates a clear record of what needed repair versus what was already fine.
We finish one window before starting another
We complete each window fully before touching the next one.
We never leave your home with half-fixed windows or gaps in weatherproofing.
We check before we call it done
Repaired windows must open and close smoothly, lock securely, and seal completely.
If it doesn’t work perfectly, we fix it before considering the job done.
You see everything during the walkthrough
We demonstrate how each window operates, show you where warranty information is located, and address any concerns before leaving.
This Is How Your Freshly Repaired Windows Can Look

Stay In The Know With Your Window Repair Project
It typically takes one to two days for your windows to be repaired. The installation timeframe also depends on the number of windows you need repaired, and it can increase if your windows are bigger or if we need to replace the framing.
An average cost to repair windows in your home is between $800 to $2,200 per window, depending on window size, vinyl window frame, PVC window frame, wood window frame, composite window frame, or Fibrex Windows.
When it comes to repairing new PVC windows it depends on the age of product as well as the manufacturer. If the windows come with a lot of defects, then they may not be worth saving. We’ll do a check-up on the quality of the product and give you an estimate on whether the windows are worth repairing or not.
When your window has issues like fog between the panes, cracks due to unforeseen circumstances or an accident (like hitting the window during a kid’s soccer game), or the decorative grids/muntins inside the unit become dislodged and fall down, these are covered under our warranty.
We will personally handle the full warranty replacement process for your window.
The cost is very similar to repairing the whole window. For a 3 to 5 foot tall window you are expected to pay $650 for the bottom glass and another $650 for the top glass, and this does not include the labour.
Yes, some newer windows are repairable and it’s cheaper than replacing them. However, homes over 20 years old with such old windows are unlikely to be repaired. Windows whose manufacturers are not in business anymore are not recommended for repairs.
We strive to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you. We’ll be performing any frame repairs or replace rotten boards if needed for your current windows. We’ll also perform a final seal test as well as a personal walkthrough to make sure everything is perfect.
If only the glass needs replacement, swapping the entire window unit seems excessive. However, without knowing the window manufacturer’s information to properly repair the window, a full replacement is in line.
We know. It’s a bummer. But there are hundreds of manufacturers on the market, so identifying the brand and product line is often a waste of time and resources, since most replacement parts are unavailable for most older models.
Our repair process
We keep your home safe while we’re fixing your windows. We’ll lay down floor protection, move furniture clear of the work area, and take photos of each window before we start any repairs.
This helps us document the current condition and spot any underlying issues that require attention.
Your home stays secure during repairs
While we’re working on one window, the rest of your openings stay closed and weathertight.
Once we complete a repair, we ensure it’s properly sealed before moving to the next one.
Your home is never left exposed.
We test before calling it done
We confirm the repaired window opens, closes, and locks smoothly.
Any weather stripping is replaced as needed to prevent drafts and improve efficiency.
We seal up problem areas to prevent air leaks and water intrusion.
Cleanup goes hand in hand with repairs
We clean up the current space before starting the next window repair.
This keeps glass fragments, old caulking, and other debris contained instead of spreading throughout your home.
You get the last look before we wrap up
After all window repairs are complete, we’ll walk through your home together.
You can operate each window, check out the finished work, and bring up any questions.
Any broken parts or waste from the job get hauled off when we leave.

How we protect your home
Inside your home
Drop cloths go down before tools come inside. Furniture near the repair area gets moved or covered with clean plastic.
Items on window sills are relocated carefully and returned after repair.
Outside your home
Landscaping near window openings is protected with drop cloths. We ask about sprinkler locations before work begins.
Decorative items and lawn furniture are moved away from the work area.
During the work
After each window is repaired, we vacuum the work area and collect all glass fragments and debris.
Sharp materials are never swept across floors.
When we finish
Full cleanup and haul away of broken glass, old hardware, and waste materials.
The home you walk through at the end looks like the home we walked into at the start.

The Fore Family
Before they came over, we had drafty, rotten windows that leaked!
Nathen and his team installed new windows and did extensive millwork to fix all the window problems.
Nathen was detailed in his work, and beyond that, he was careful to clean up all glass.
I have already recommended him to a neighbor.

My wife and I were looking to have windows put in around our home so we decided to go with Windows for Life. […]
Nathan is truly committed until the job is finished. After he finished the project he took the time to walk me through how to operate the windows when cleaning them which was a tremendous help.
Shout out to Nathan, it’s good to see someone still having integrity with the customer in mind. Now the old drafty windows are gone and most of all, our electric bill is down and the house looks great.
