At Windows For Life, we’ve created a clear window installation timeline that takes out the guesswork and keeps your project moving. From the first phone call to the final walkthrough, you’ll always know what’s happening, when it’s happening, and exactly what to expect.

Every Step Of Your Window Installation Explained

For us, it’s never just another project: it’s someone’s home. Know exactly what to expect when you choose new windows installed by our experts at Windows For Life.

Step 1. Initial Phone Call

It all begins with a quick call to learn about your project, walk through your questions, and book your in-home consultation. Friendly, fast, and zero pressure. You’ll get every question answered and have a rundown of our product options.

60 min (or as long as you need)

Step 2. Home Consultation

Nathan comes to your home, inspects the windows, takes measurements and consults with you. Once the plans are clear, he places the order for the new windows himself. The installation will be scheduled based on the estimated arrival time.

2–4 Weeks

Step 3. Communication While We Wait

While we wait for your custom windows to arrive, you will receive weekly updates on the delivery, as requested. We keep close with our manufacturers, so you’ll enjoy faster deliveries on your windows. Once they arrive, we can proceed with the installation process.

(30 mins or as long as you need)

Step 4. Arrival And Preparation

You’ll get a call from us about one hour before we arrive at your home, at the scheduled time. Once we’re there, we prepare the space accordingly: move furniture, remove items from the walls, and get breakables out of the way.

Step 5. Work As Instructed

You tell us which room to begin with and we start installing your windows. If you have any specific needs, such as a baby sleeping or a dog that needs to be watched, just let us know and we’ll accommodate. We always make an effort to give you a smooth service.

Step 6. Installation Process

Step 7. Exterior Work

Our process is fast, so your windows will usually be installed in one day. Our years of experience make our process efficient and masterful. For exterior trim work, the windows need some time to set, so we typically return the next day to complete it.

Step 8. Final Walkthrough

Once everything’s ready, Nathen will walk you through the finished project. You’ll learn how the windows operate, what maintenance they need, and receive the warranty papers. We answer your questions and make sure you’re 100% satisfied before we leave.

My old windows were more than 20 years old and were very weak, allowing air to flow through and causing my central unit to work overtime, in turn causing high electrical usage/bills.

They were getting hard to open and function and could not be cleaned easily since they wouldn’t open well.

Nathan and his team replaced my windows in such a quick time, and they worked with me on my time, and were very respectful in their mannerisms, cleanliness, attitude, and everything involved. It was a pleasure to work with him and I recommend them to any and all.

They were very reliable on time, cleaned up adter themselves. I didn’t have to do anything. I was really impressed with how everything was cleaned up and out back in place.

What could have been a disaster turned out to be a great outcome thanks to Nathan. This was a special order door due to the wider width of the side panels.

The first door arrived damaged due to shipping, second door opened the wrong direction, the third door had too many grids in one of the side panels.

Nathan immediately ordered new glass and sent an installer to swap out the glass.

The door looks amazing and we have received many compliments. Nathan always did what he promised and made sure we were happy with the door and installation.

I really can’t say enough nice things about his service. Thank you Nathan!

We had some older single pane windows. You could feel the heat and cold through the older windows. So we called Windows For Life.

There was also bugs getting inside. They replaced the old windows and the new windows are much tighter. We love that they fols in and we can clean the outside from in the house.

The look so much better. I feel much more secure with these newer windows. The crew that came out stayed late and finished the job. We live in a small town in Red Boiling Springs so its hard to get people dependable to come out and complete a job with excellent quality.

Most people that come out try ro rush, but these guys did not. They tool the time to properly install the new windows and seal everything up air tight. I would recommend them to anyone in family.
